History of the SG label
The Susie Gallagher label began in the 1980’s when Susie returned from an extended tour in Italy. Whilst abroad she studied Italian in Florence and reported fashion trends to Australian designers. The label was distributed at wholesale through Department stores and also 'stand alone' SG boutiques.
In the 1990s Susie developed a unique style of trunk show selling which gave clients 'one to one' attention through a sales consultant.
Worn by women with elegant taste, they relied on Susie's penchant for high quality European fabrics and classic design lines. The label continues to supply individual clients by private showing.
